Air conditioned
throughout the barge
Imagine a barge holiday in France where your days unfold discovering the peace, beauty and culture of a country whilst appreciating an ever changing scenery as you cruise along at a relaxing walking pace.

During a barge holiday aboard Bonheur you will explore beautiful villages, have private viewing's of chateau, see historical sites, enjoy wine tasting's and eating local cuisine, all while experiencing the relaxing pace of life upon the picturesque waterways of France.

Bonheur was once a traditional working barge but has now been converted to provide luxury accommodation for barge holidays.

At 34 metres (110 feet) Bonheur is probably the largest barge you can charter which only takes 4 passengers. With large lounge, good sized cabins and huge deck space used for both alfresco dining and relaxing on the sun loungers, there is always plenty of space.

We only charter the whole barge so that you know your fellow passengers.

With us ( Paul & Annie Roberts ) as your crew for the week, you will not only be looked after for the cruising and on board cuisine but also trips by air conditioned people carrier to places of interest.

If during the week you find a place that you particularly like we can stay longer, the choice is yours, this is your barge holiday.

Our aim is for you to enjoy some of the simple pleasures that makes France such a fascinating place to visit, together with the very best of English hospitality.

You will be welcomed aboard, looked after like guests and treated as discerning friends.

Bring a sense of adventure and we are sure that you will enjoy this experience of a lifetime.
